Terms and Conditions of our STEM Facebook Giveaway Ver 1 29-4-24.

Prizes may differ to those advertised dependent on availability. There is no cash alternative for the prizes.
We will use random.org to generate a winner, once all winners are collated on a Excel spreadsheet.

We’re giving away a STEM prize for your school each week. These prizes are intended for schools and nurseries only.

To enter your school into the draw, like this post, and put your chosen school into the comments section – if no school is mentioned, you will not be entered into the draw.

T&Cs: Open to UK residents aged 18+. Winner chosen at random. Each week the draw will run from the Monday, closing on the Sunday, the draw will be done on the Monday of the next week.
We reserve the right to change the competition duration, modify terms and conditions, or withdraw the competition before the final deadline date. All running, open competitions will be finalised and drawn in accordance to the T&C’s applicable to that draw.

  • Restriction on the number of entries. Only two schools per person can be entered into the draw. More than two entries will void all entries from that individual.
  • How we choose winners: We will ensure that prizes are awarded in accordance with the laws of chance. Each entry will be input onto a spreadsheet, and then use the random number generator from Random.org to choose the numbered line on the spreadsheet as the winning school.
  • Location: All nominated schools must be within England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
  • There is no cash alternative to this prize. Prizes may differ slightly from those promoted if we are unable to get the item. However, they will be of the same or better quality and be of the same style or activity.
  • Time Scale: This is a weekly prize draw, commencing on the 29th April and will run for 3 months (until the 29th July, with final winner announced by 5th August) We hold the right to continue the prize draws on a monthly increment from that date if we choose to. (With the final winner being announced no later than the 5th January 2025)
  • Notification of winners: The individual who has posted the winning entry will be notified by Facebook Messenger, we will also contact the school by telephone. If we do not hear back from the school, we will write to them specifying what they have won. They will have one week to respond. If after that time we do not hear, then we will pass the prize onto a second school within that same draw, and will notify the poster and the school as outlined. If after the two schools have been notified, there is still no answer, the prize will be absorbed back into the competition for another week.
  • How winners will receive their prizes. Once we are in correspondence with the winning school we will arrange for the prize to either be delivered by post or in person.
  • Publicity of winners. Each winner will be advised that we will be promoting the win on social media, if they wish to stay anonymous, they will need to let us know in writing on receipt of the award.
