About Us – The Guys in the Office

Murray – Managing Director

Founder, leader, and ideas man – Murray is the driving force behind Cablers. With clear vision and passion for progress, he’s constantly planning the next innovation while staying hands-on with the day-to-day. Known for his energy, creativity, and care for both customers and colleagues, Murray leads with a balance of fun, focus, and genuine dedication.

Outside of work, Murray is a hands-on dad to two very sporty children, a devoted husband, and proud dog dad. His weekends are filled with sports fixtures and family time, always making sure his kids have every chance to thrive. When he does find a rare moment to himself, you’ll likely find him on the golf course or behind a camera, indulging his passion for amateur wildlife photography.

Peter – Office Manager & Cabling Lead

Peter has been with Cablers since day one, bringing years of experience and unwavering dedication to the team. As our Office Manager and head of the cabling side of the business, he keeps everything running efficiently behind the scenes.

Known for his treasure trove of quirky facts, Peter is your go-to for a quiz night—or for adding a touch of randomness to the workday. And while he keeps it quiet, we’re pretty sure he’s a big football fan…

Olga – Office and Finance Administrator

Olga is the friendly force behind our smooth-running office, managing invoicing and admin with care and attention to detail. Often the first to offer a smile or a chat, she brings warmth and positivity to the team.

She’s also the other half (some might say the better half) of our Managing Director, Murray, and shares his dedication to supporting their children’s extracurricular adventures. When she’s not keeping things on track at work or home, Olga unleashes her creative side through knitting – ask her about her famously quirky handmade mushrooms!

Sue – Marketing

Sue is the creative mind behind our marketing, keeping our social media fresh, our website updated, and our customer communications running smoothly. Writing under the pen name Sue Panini, she also crafts articles and blogs that help tell the Cablers story.

A busy mum of twins, Sue sees the office as her “break”—and makes sure there’s always a fresh pot of coffee brewing for the team. Outside of work, she’s actively involved as a volunteer and facilitator with The Maze Group, supporting families of neurodiverse children. When she’s not gaming on her XBOX (with or without her boys), you’ll likely find her curled up with a good crime thriller.

About Us – Account Management

Kevin – Senior Account Manager

Kevin is one of our experienced Senior Account Managers, known for his people skills, quick wit, and unwavering commitment to customer care. With a sharp eye for detail and a love for solving problems, he approaches each challenge like a true detective—always working to uncover the best solution for his clients.

A fan of classic crime thrillers and the ever-resourceful Detective Bergerac, Kevin brings the same persistence and charm to his work. His friendly approach, cheeky smile, and dedication to seeing every job through make him a trusted partner for our customers.

Iain – Senior Account Manager

With a long-standing background in the IT industry, Iain brings a wealth of experience and professionalism to his role as Senior Account Manager. He’s committed to delivering excellent service and plays a key part in building and maintaining Cablers’ strong reputation. Reliable and approachable, Iain is a trusted point of contact for many of our customers.

Outside of work, Iain is a passionate golfer—and always happy to chat about it… if you’ve got a spare 48 hours!

Stacey – Sales & Marketing Administrator

Stacey plays a vital role in our team, ensuring customers have a friendly and reliable point of contact for regular orders, renewals, and day-to-day sales support. Her organised and approachable style helps keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Outside the office, Stacey is a busy mum to three energetic boys and loves nothing more than spending quality time with family and friends at lively get-togethers.

About Us – Tech Team

Paul – IT Team Leader

As our IT Team Leader, Paul takes on the challenging task of coordinating our busy team of technicians – making sure everyone’s in the right place at the right time. Despite the daily juggling act, he still finds time to support our customers directly, bringing calm, clarity, and great service to every interaction.

A dedicated family man, Paul enjoys unwinding after a busy week with friends at the pub or heading out on the estuary in his boat to enjoy some well-earned downtime.

Alex – Helpdesk Supervisor

Meet Alex, our fantastic Helpdesk Supervisor with a strong background in IT support. Since joining the team, he’s brought fresh ideas and energy, helping us deliver top-notch service every day.

Alex’s superpower? Double-jointed hands! How that helps with IT support, no one’s quite sure – but we’re all curious to find out. In the meantime, he’s on a mission to tackle tech troubles one password reset at a time.

Passionate about his work, Alex thrives on solving problems, supporting customers, and mentoring his team to grow and succeed.

Brad – IT Technician

Brad is one of our skilled IT technicians, bringing a strong work ethic shaped by his time as an Amazon delivery driver during a busy Christmas season. A former mechanical engineer, Brad joined Cablers in 2019 and quickly became a reliable and resourceful member of our team.

He thrives on variety and independence, enjoying the chance to visit different schools and businesses helping to solve their IT challenges – keeping them on track with their  IT.

Garry – IT Technician

Garry always has a ready smile and sporting his perfectly groomed beard. A 3D printing enthusiast, he’s perfected his impressive Star Wars character collection (ask him about Darth Vader’s progress)—and whether it’s liquid or filament printing, he’s happy to share the pros and cons if you’re thinking about getting one.

Garry loves working closely with people, building strong rapports, to make sure every customer is satisfied. His blend of technical skill and customer focus makes him a valuable part of our team.

Dan – IT Technician

Dan is the office chameleon – quiet and reserved at first, but fun and enthusiastic once you get to know him. A passionate fan of sci-fi books and computer games, he’s always a great source for your next best read.

With a natural technical aptitude, Dan loves tinkering with PCs in his spare time and, like many IT pros, has unofficially become the go-to tech support for his family.

Matt – IT Help Desk

With a background in graphic and web design, Matt is a vital part of our help desk team, providing expert support to our customers. A top player in Spyro the Dragon, he spends his spare time gaming and exploring new tech—though he prefers more action-packed games.

Matt’s methodical approach means he follows every problem to the core, ensuring effective solutions for our clients every time.

Daniel – IT Technician

With exceptional fine motor skills, Daniel excels in tackling even the most delicate IT tasks. His precision and dexterity come not just from his tech work but also from his passion for miniature painting in roleplay games—steady hands perfect for both worlds.

Daniel is also a volunteer Player Representative at RP Haven, a Role Play CiC, where he helps raise funds for local causes. A trained animator who loves cooking and baking, he brings creativity and problem-solving to everything he does.

When asked what he loves most about his job, Daniel says, “I really enjoy the relieved looks on people’s faces when you solve their IT problem and become their five-minute hero for the day.” We think that says it all.

About Us – Engineers

Adam – Engineering Team Manager

Adam leads our growing Engineering Team, bringing over 26 years of industry experience to the role. Starting his career in cabling and PC work at just 16, he has spent the past 15 years in leadership positions, working closely with engineers, customers, and suppliers to ensure every project runs smoothly and efficiently.

Outside of work, Adam is a dedicated family man who loves spending quality time with his loved ones, whether at home or on holiday. He also has a serious passion for all things petrol-powered, having owned over 70 vehicles (and counting) throughout his life.

Sonny – Installation Engineer

Sonny is one of our Installation Engineers we think he is nearly 100, but no one is really sure… best sense of humour… (promise), he’s an all round good egg, former snow border and lover of good wine.

Dylan – Installation Engineer

Dylan is one of our experienced Installation Engineers, bringing over 20 years of expertise in cabling and fibre optics, and is CNIT qualified. Originally from Port Elizabeth, South Africa, Dylan moved to England at 23 to chase his musical dream—playing guitar in a rock band.

Today, he regularly gigs around the Cambridge music scene as part of a duo, balancing his passion for music with his technical skills in IT.

Lee – Network Engineer

Lee is our experienced Network Engineer, having worked with networks since leaving school. He thrives on the variety his role brings—no two days are the same, whether he’s visiting schools, offices, warehouses, or building sites.

At home, Lee shares life with Speagle the cat, who’s very much the centre of attention. One day, Lee hopes to take Speagle canoeing with him—harnessed, of course!

Josh – Network Engineer

No-longer the apprentice; Josh has fully embraced his role as a Network Engineer. With a passion for tech, he’s often found building custom keyboards or deconstructing devices—though we can’t always promise they’ll return in their original form (especially without a few upgrades!).

With engineering in his genes and a love for all things tech—both at work and in his spare time—networking was a natural career path for Josh. Outside of work, he’s a keen gamer, cricket fan, and a bit of a secret weapon in ten pin bowling—so if you’re picking teams, make sure he’s on yours!
